What is a “24-hour conversation”?
1. Understanding the 24-hour conversation window
In channels like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, when someone writes to you, a 24-hour window opens.
Everything exchanged within those 24 hours counts as one conversation.
If 24 hours pass without a reply from the person, the window closes.
To resume, you usually need to send a special message (template), which opens a new conversation.
2. Leads vs. Unique Leads
Lead: every time someone leaves their details or shows interest (form, chat, WhatsApp).
Example: the same person submits 3 times = 3 leads.
Unique Lead: counts each person only once in the analysis period, even if they submitted multiple times.
Example: same person submits 3 times = 1 unique lead.
Mini-example:
María chats on Monday and Thursday (more than 24h apart) → 2 conversations, 2 leads, 1 unique lead.
