What is Asana?
Asana is a work management tool that allows teams to plan, organize, and track their projects in one place. Unlike simple to-do lists, Asana offers:
Multiple ways to visualize work: List view, Board (Kanban), Timeline, and Calendar.
Hierarchical structure: Portfolios → Projects → Tasks → Subtasks, allowing you to organize work from the macro to the micro level.
Custom fields: Tailor each task with the specific information your team needs.
Real-time collaboration: Comments, assignments, due dates, and notifications.
Prerequisites
Before you begin setting up the integration between Darwin and Asana, make sure you meet the following requirements:
An active Asana account (free or paid).
At least one project in Asana where the derived tasks will be created.
Your Asana user account must have editing permissions for that project.
Note on plans: Asana's free plan works for getting started, but it has API limits and lacks custom fields. For professional use, a paid plan is recommended.
