How to Connect Airtable

S
Written by Support Team

Airtable is a platform that functions as a visual, hybrid database, combining the flexibility and familiarity of a spreadsheet with the power and structure of a relational database. It is designed so teams can organize, collaborate, and automate their work without needing to write code.

Core Features

  • Visual Relational Databases: Its core functionality allows you to create tables and link records to one another, such as linking projects to specific tasks. Information can be viewed in multiple ways through customizable views (grid, kanban, calendar, gallery, timeline) without modifying the original data.

  • Built-in Automation: It allows you to automate native workflows without external tools—such as automatically sending emails or updating records when specific conditions are met—speeding up repetitive processes.

  • Interfaces and Dashboards: It enables you to build internal applications and visual dashboards (charts, summaries) to present and share key information in a clear and accessible way for the entire team.

How to Connect Airtable with Darwin AI?

Prerequisites

Before you start configuring any automation, make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • An active Airtable account.

  • A database already created with at least one table containing the data you want to use as a trigger.

  • Your user account must have at least "Editor" permissions on that database.

Note on plans: Airtable's free plan works well for testing, but it has limits. If you plan to automate processes with daily volume, you will need a paid plan.
