Custom Fields allow you to store and organize client-specific information within Darwin. You can define them according to your needs and use them in conversations to enrich your data management.

1. Access the Settings

  1. Go to the Settings section in Darwin.

  2. Click on Add field.

2. Create a New Field

When creating a field, you’ll need to complete:

  • Field Name: for example, Client ID.

  • Description: a short reference about what the field will be used for.

3. Choose the Field Mode

There are two available modes:

  • Intelligent: the AI will automatically calculate the field’s value.

  • Manual: you enter the information directly.

4. Define the Data Type

You can select different formats:

  • Text

  • Number

  • Boolean (true/false)

  • Date

  • Predefined list: lets you create options, for example:

    • Client status:

      • Hot → Client highly interested

      • Warm → Client moderately interested

      • Cold → Client not interested

5. Use the Fields in a Conversation

  1. Open a conversation in Darwin.

  2. Select the field you configured (e.g., Client status).

  3. Choose the appropriate option (hot, warm, or cold).

  4. Click Save.

The information will be stored within the conversation for future follow-ups.
